Sinéad Galvin
Educational ConsultantHelping families to find the right school in Madrid
Hello! My name is Sinéad and I am the founder of the boutique educational consultancy Steps into Spain. I am also a very proud (and busy!) Mum of three.
My Story
I’m Irish and I have been living in Spain (Granada, Valencia, Tenerife, Barcelona and Madrid) on and off for about 20 years. I have lived in Madrid for about 16 years with intermittent spells in London and Melbourne.
For many years I taught English in Spanish public schools and my three children have also been through the school application process. Knowing from personal experience that the process can be complex, I want to help and guide families through this.
Having lived in many countries and moved several times with kids, I have a deep understanding of family’s needs when moving to a new country and the importance attached to finding the right school.
My Values & Beliefs
Honest and unbiased
I do not receive commission from any schools and only ever recommend schools that trust match your needs.
Attention to detail
My work for you will be bespoke and tailor-made to your personal needs.
Local Knowledge and expertise
I regularly visit schools across the city and always have my ear to the ground.
My Approach
I have worked for many years in education and setting up my own educational consultancy seemd like a great way to continue within and to also become my own boss.
When clients being to work with me they quite often comment upon how relieved that they are.
